Code Review on Effective Stiffness Provision of Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Column

ABSTRACT: The effective flexural stiffness of cross section of concrete filled tube column is used for compression strength design of long column, stability analysis and lateral load analysis of frame. Because both elastic modulus of concrete and efficient coefficient of composite section among national code are different, the effective flexural stiffness of composite section would be different. In this paper, effective flexural stiffness of composite section by each code was compared with the experimental data of other researcher.
